Attorney Laura Pazin Porter

Attorney Porter determined at an early age that she wanted to be an attorney based on her desire to help others and her interest in public speaking. She is the first lawyer in her family. She was born in Florida and lived there until high school when her family moved to South Texas. She graduated from McAllen Memorial High School in 1993, the University of Texas-Pan American in 1998, and received her J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2001. Mrs. Porter has actively been practicing law since 2001, is licensed in both Texas and New Mexico, and provides the firm with experience in civil litigation, including complex litigation and civil trial, as well as appellate law experience. Mrs. Porter has participated in cases in litigation in Texas, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Minnesota, New Mexico, Tennessee, Alabama, and Kentucky.
